A letter by a Teacher

Dearest Students,
After three months or so , you will sit for class 12 board exams . I know how hard you are trying to understand all the subjects, but there is something very important you must know and that is, the fact that the board exams do not assess all of what makes you special and unique. The people who create the board question papers and mark the answer scripts, do not know you as I do; and certainly not the way your families do. They do not know that some of you are  very good in sports, that even some of you love to sing or draw. They have not seen your inborn talents for dancing and cracking jokes on even silly things which even  make your sad friends feel better. They do not know that your friends rely on you. They believe that you are   there for them in difficult times, that your laughter can brighten their darkest day, that  how you blush when you feel shy. They do not know that you participate in sports, wonder about the future, or sometimes you help with your little brother or little sister after school. They do not know that you are kind, trustworthy, and thoughtful… and every day you try your best.
The grades or marks  you get in these exams will tell you something, but they will not tell you everything. These exams do not define you. There are many more ways of being smart.

My dear children,
YOU, all are smart! You are enough! You are the light that brightens my day and you are the reason that  I happily  come to work each day. So, in the midst of all of these tests and exams remember that there is no way to "test" all of the amazing and awesome things that make you, YOU.
All I ask is that you do your best and never give up. You have been working for since Kindergarten and, NOW , you are ready!
 I believe in you!
I love u all my dearest Students; whom I said goodbye yesterday, the ones who are with me now and the rest who are still in the line for that final bye.
Remember one thing, your teacher loves you a lot!
With lots of luv and good wishes
